Welcome to our church family; Gimli Lutheran's long history of serving the people of Gimli is everyday being recreated, in our church. The Icelandic settlers that saw the need for a church to grow their spiritual relations with God have been joined by a cosmopolitan community of active spiritual seekers.
You are welcome here, where ever you are, on your faith walk. What Lutherans are all about is living the Grace of God in our everyday life because we believe that in accepting God's grace we are freed to be truly alive in the Love and Life of God.

Greetings from your Council!
The year ahead promises to present us with many challenges. As a council we feel one of our main goals is to increase the number of people in our congregation and have them attend services on a regular basis. We can do this by inviting young families to worship with us and also make contact with existing members who have for whatever reason not been attending our services. We are extremely fortunate to have Pastor Les to lead us into the future. If you have not met Pastor Les, please feel free to drop into the church anytime. You will find him most welcoming. As I mentioned previously in this, our 135th year we will be presented with many challenges. With the help of everyone we will be successful in achieving all of our goals.
